Aqua first timers... (an abbreviated guide to spa etiquette)
What do I wear to the spa?
Come in whatever makes you comfortable. You will be changing in your treatment room as instructed by the technician.
Check In
Please stop at the front desk and let the guest services coordinator know you have arrived for your appointment. You may be requested to fill out some medical or spa intakes forms prior to being escorted by your technician to your treatment room or service area.
Arrival
Please plan to arrive a few minutes before your appointment so that you can get settled in, fill out all necessary paperwork, have some refreshing Aqua spring water and visit the restroom.
If you get lost...
Please ask someone where the front desk is and they will direct you to the correct technician.
I am having multiple services!
For your comfort, Aqua provides robe and slippers and the technician will escort you, along with your clothes, to the next service area.
My Massage...
When you get a massage at Aqua we want you to be comfortable. So, with that in mind, please disrobe to your comfort level. You will be draped with sheets or towels during your service, so if you are shy, please feel free to leave on some clothes. Of course, you want to be comfortable and relaxed.
Oops... I need a lip or brow wax when in with my skin care specialist
Just ask, and they will do everything possible to accommodate your request.
Series
We offer all of our treatments in packages of 5 visits. You pay us up front and get to save some money. The catch... you must use them within 12 months. Ask us about the savings.
Gratuity
We always say, gratuity for spa services done well is normal but optional. Tipping is normally between 15-20%. we do not encourage tipping on medical services or visits with our doctors.
How often should I come in for a facial, massage or waxing?
Of course, everything varies but here goes... the norms
waxing every 3 weeks
massage at least twice a month...more if you have chronic issues
facials you have chronic issues
laser hair removal monthly
Fotofacials every 6 weeks (minimum 5 treatments)
Botox every 3 weeks (5 treatments)

Although we always try to be sensitive to our guest's specific needs, only a small percentage of our staff has thus far been blessed with ESP. We ask that you communicate your specific expectations openly with your assigned Aqua technician, both before and during the treatment (if necessary) so that he or she can target and customize your facial, massage, or nail treatment to meet your expectations.
Please alert your reservationist if you are: pregnant, have muscle or joint injuries, are using Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing or keratolytic medications, or have had recent laser or plastic surgery. Any of the above conditions may affect the success of or our ability to perform your requested treatment.
